Hiking in your summer holidays

The 1,000 kilometres of signposted hiking trails of the Paznaun could be too much to walk in just one holiday. The great diversity offers a suitable adventure for every type of walker. Whether you are a relaxed nature-lover, an enthusiastic gourmet, ambitious conqueror of altitude or always on the lookout for the best picture. Your personal hiking experience is waiting: from a comfortable family walk to the idyllic Kops reservoir to hiking the Jamtal and summit tours to the Sonnenkogel.

On the rocks in Galtür

The Silvapark in Galtür is Tyrol’s largest natural rock boulder area with 175 routes for beginners and experts. Furthermore, the Paznaun Valley offers even more climbing adventures in the climbing garden, on 4 Via Ferrate (like the Silvapark or Little Ballun), ice climbing routes, 4 multi-pitch tours and 2 family-friendly climbing gardens. Even if the weather is bad you can start your vertical adventures in one of the two indoor climbing facilities. You can also challenge the 4-pitched routes to the Greitspitz or visit the Jamtal climbing paradise with its 20 routes. Those of you who prefer to stay closer to the ground, can enjoy a climbing day in the Skyfly Ropes Course.

Bike holidays in the Paznaun

The bike region Paznaun Ischgl makes the legs burn, the hearts beat faster and the wishes of all bike enthusiasts come true. The tracks lead you through breath-taking scenery, as high as 2,700 metres of altitude. Always accompanied by the sight of the mountains of the Silvretta, Samnaun an Verwall Range. 754 kilometres of exciting trails provide for adventures on Enduro, mountain bike and E-Bike. For beginners, relaxation-seekers and adrenaline junkies. You can rent the best bikes in the bike shops of the region. Swimming in your summer holidays

The waters of the crystal-clear mountain lakes and cool reservoirs lure hikers and bikers on hot summer days to get some refreshment. It’s the perfect treat after a hike or a refreshing little break in between. But warmer waters are waiting as well to quench your thirst for splashing experiences. Like the swimming pond in the village centre of See or the Waldbad in Ischgl – Paznaun.

The little explorers do not only enjoy exciting hiking tours and adventurous experiences on family-friendly paths also suitable for pushchairs. They also love to visit some of the special family highlights in the Paznaun Valley. Like the Vider Truja Adventure Park or the the Ischgl Skyfly.
